I'M JULIA! PLEASE DON'T PASS ME BY BECAUSE MY FACE IS GRAY! WON'T YOU READ MY STORY? I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE!
IN SEARCH OF A KIND SOUL WHO WILL LOVE THIS SUPER SENIOR! This dear, sweet girl was surrendered by her owners 6/4/13, at 14 years old. That's right...14 years old! Julia was adopted from us many years ago when she was just a young pup. The owners stated they were moving out of the country and were unable to take Julia with them. We understand that most people aren't looking to adopt a dog who is in the sunset if her life, but we do hope you'll consider it. When you meet Julia, you'll find her to be alert, very loving, and in good physical condition, with just a couple of excess pounds. She has very mild cataracts but seems to be able to see fairly well. We believe her hearing is still sharp. The owners stated that Julia gets along fine with other dogs and cats, and likes children. They advised that she's housebroken.

Julia's unhappy and nervous right now, and who can blame her? This darling dog spent nearly 14 years living in a home with a family, and now she finds herself in a noisy shelter. Can you imagine her confusion and heartbreak? There's no way to predict how much time Julia has left on this earth....could be 4 months, or could be 4 years. What we do know is she deserves to live out the rest of her days in a real home, with people who will offer her the comfort, love and respect she deserves. Julia would be the perfect companion for a senior citizen, or anyone who spends a lot of time at home. Her needs are minimal. She would just want to snuggle with you and watch TV, and would need a few trips outside daily to take care of business. This sweetheart will offer you so much companionship, love and loyalty.

Surely that special someone is out there for Julia. Could it be you?

This is all the information we have. We are networking; we do not have this sweet pup, nor, unfortunately, are we able to help with transport. For any additional information, or to adopt or rescue (foster based), please quickly get in touch with the shelter/person listed under contact information.
